So where did this blog come from? Well when I first moved to Seattle on May 2007, I found a couple of websites with some info about trails, but not enough info about them. Then about a month ago Specialized had a contest, they wanted to put together the Stumpjumper Trail Crew. The purpose was to select a couple of people to ride the 2010 Stumpy and post info about their rides. I applied, but even though I didn’t get it, it made me think that I could start my own blog and help people that like me, can’t find enough info about local trails. Off course it will take me some time to build up a good amount of info and to get the hang of how this whole blog thing works, plus getting people to actually read the blog, but I have to start somewhere.

So what am I looking to do with the blog. Yeah I might post a thing or tow that have to do with me, and the stuff I do around here but the main focus is biking, specially mountain biking. I love the sport and I hope this helps get other people to love the sport and the trails we find the in PNW. You will find local links to local organizations that provide lots of good info. There will also be info from recreational riding to racing.

As of today I am 27, but that will last another 2 weeks. I am originally form Colombia and moved to Florida in 2001. As you can imagine, there is not much riding in FL. Graduated from college and move to WA. i’ve been riding for about 4 years. Over this last summer (2009) I started racing XC. After the season was over I needed to keep in shape so I joined the Cycle U team and started racing Cyclocross. The next series I want to tackle is the FluidrideCup next year.
